Christmas Comes Early for Mega 6 and Double Draw Winners

Bridgetown, Barbados – November 9, 2018: After purchasing five Quick Picks in the Mega 6 game, 43-year-old Clifford Moore absent-mindedly left his tickets behind after purchasing them at the De Hill Minimart in St. Michael.

“As I put on my shoes to return, one of the shop workers was already at my door with the tickets,” said Mr. Moore. “He was also the first person to tell me to check the tickets.”

When he did, Mr. Moore realized that he had won a whopping BDS$385,000. “I feel blessed and shocked,” he declared.

Early Christmas (and birthday) gifts are on the list for Mr. Moore. With family on his mind, the father of three is looking forward to seeing his children, who will be able to come and visit him, as he has not seen them in four years.

Mark Edwards, a 49-year-old father of five, was also thrilled at his recent win in the Double Draw game. A regular player of this game, he said he felt “cool and great” after winning BDS$250,000. He plans to wisely invest his winnings in shares or bonds and to do some renovations on his home.

Site Operations Manager at The Barbados Lottery, Shelly Ann Hee Chung expressed her delight at the two big wins. “We expect our special promotion this month for the Double Draw Mega Ball to bring further excitement throughout the month,” she said. “We warmly congratulate Mr. Moore and Mr. Edwards on their wins, and we look forward to our players continuing to benefit from this opportunity for extra winnings this November.”

Mr. Edwards is a fan of the Double Draw game, which he has been playing since its inception. He encouraged others to give the game a try.

“I believe I have a way with numbers,” he said – without of course disclosing what his system is.

“Keep playing. A dollar can make you a winner, so try your luck,” added Mr. Edwards. “Without a ticket, you can never win it – so play the Double Draw every day!”
